Give each child a useful part
Define one shared result, then divide the work into contributions that can be checked separately. The children should know who handles which category before starting. Give the adult responsibility for heavier or unsafe items. At the end, review the shared space with both children and recognize the specific contributions. This is a household teamwork plan; it does not require or imply shared XP, cooperative app goals or an automatic team-reward feature.
A worked family example
For a living-room reset, one child puts books away and another collects soft toys. An adult handles the heavier items and checks the room with both children.
A plan to adapt
| Part of the plan | A concrete choice |
|---|---|
| Shared outcome | Living room ready for the next activity |
| Child A | Return books to the shelf |
| Child B | Collect soft toys in the basket |
| Adult | Handle heavier items and the joint check |
Try this in your household
- Name the shared result.
- Assign complementary manageable roles.
- Keep adult-only items with the adult.
- Check the result together without ranking children.
Where the app can help
LvlUpKids turns responsibilities into quests, lets a child submit finished work, and lets a parent review it before approved XP goes toward a family-chosen reward. See how LvlUpKids turns chores into parent-approved quests, XP and chosen rewards.
The website template is separate from your account. Edit and print locally, then manually enter selected tasks in the app if you want the quest workflow. There is no automatic import, account save or AI connection on these pages.
