A FREE FAMILY TOOL

A morning with a visible next step.

Make a short checklist your child can follow with the help they need. Start with five familiar steps and adjust the order to your home.

Make your plan

No signup. Edits stay in this open page, with no storage or server submission. Use generic labels rather than names. Refresh or reset clears edits. This tool does not save to the app.

Print or choose Save as PDF in your browser. Your edits appear in the preview below.

Build around the time you actually leave

Work backward from the door. Leave room for breakfast, transitions and help with unfamiliar tasks. If five steps feel like too much, leave a field blank to hide that step. A child who cannot read can follow the checklist with an adult reading each step aloud.

Try it for three mornings

  1. Show each step once, including what finished looks like.
  2. Put the printed plan near the place where the morning begins.
  3. After a few mornings, shorten any instruction that caused confusion.

Keep meals, rest and affection available regardless of checkmarks. A checklist organizes the day; it does not measure your child’s worth.

Want recurring quests?

Use the checklist on paper, or manually create selected responsibilities in LvlUpKids. The app lets parents set XP and review submissions. This planner has no app import connection. Read our morning routine guide for more examples.
