Pick a number that fits today
The video uses five toys in a basket picked together. Your child might need fewer, or might want to choose the toys. State the basket and the count before they begin, then offer help if needed. You are aiming for a doable contribution, not a perfect room.
Review the agreed task
After the child taps “I did it!”, a parent checks and approves. XP goes toward the reward the family has chosen. Praise the effort as well as the result. The American Academy of Pediatrics advises realistic expectations and recognizing children's work as they learn.
