A family-chosen reward: who picks the next game?

A reward can be a family choice, not a purchase. This example pairs putting game pieces away with choosing the next game.

Choose the reward before the quest

Ask what would feel fun and realistic this week. “Pick the next family game” has a clear meaning and a shared cost of zero. Agree on when that game time could happen, so the reward is something the family can deliver.

Keep the task and reward distinct

The quest in this video is game pieces back in their box. After the child taps “I did it!”, a parent checks and approves. That approval adds XP toward the reward the family picked. The exact reward, task and pace remain your decision.
